Just ran through a sample on a new CR10 V3. Beautiful color. Even printing. Quite strong.
I love the Cherry Pie filament, it is beautiful. A super bright red, I have a nice clear red PLA that just looks dull in comparison to this filament. When you print it thin it can really show off those gold glints, but I don't see that as well on bigger models. I don't know what else to say, it prints great and looks fantastic. Just like other spools of GreenGate PETG I've been using, it suffers from a pretty hefty variation in diameter throughout the spool. I take ten measurements on every new spool of filament I get, especially brands I am new to like this one. I sample every one meter or so and I've seen everything from 1.68mm all the way up to 1.75mm, but most of the measurements fall closer to 1.70 and I have ended up with averages of 1.712 and 1.725 for these rolls. Not exactly a deal breaker, but still frustrating since I have to spend more time checking and tuning.
Otherwise it prints as well as I'd expect from solid PETG. The color is fantastic and the structural strength and flex are as I would expect. It sticks to PEI bed at 87C very very well. But it did come with a fair amount of moisture embedded that caused lots of fracturing and bubbles when printed above 235C. It does still print very well down to 215C though.
I would definitely buy more, but remember to do a good diameter sampling or you'll wind up wondering why it's printing so poorly right off! And definitely needs to be dried!!
Prints really well on my Prusa MK3. I printed a skull planter/vase out of it and it just looks like it’s made of rubies!
