Easy basic shade, well labeled as 'primer' grey, as it has enough distance from a white to not be confused.
With only a few years under my belt of printing on my Ender3, I have printed on PLA & PETG. The quality of this recycled PETG is very good. With minor tweaks to my PETG profile was able to print dimensional accurate prints. The only minor issue which is inherit to PETG was moisture absorption. Popped it in my oven and back to smooth flowing printing. Very much enjoyed this recycled filament. Will buy again.
I've heard that 2 different colors of the same filament can have very different printing requirements. That seems to be the case between the two rolls I bought. The Spearmint worked well pretty much from the first print. The Primer color had a couple of minor issues with the same settings. 1) needed to be printed about 5C hotter 2) had some swelling issues near the entrance to the heat break, probably from retractions. The swelling made it so that the filament couldn't get through the PTFE tube so I missed a couple of layers before the machine warned me and I fixed it. 3) Z offset had to be a bit lower, the primer seemed slightly less squishy when hot.
Absolutely fantastic filament! Produces some of the best prints I’ve ever made. Great layer adhesion, strong, better quality and consistency than some of the big name filament. This is my new go to PET-G!
Forget what you may have heard about filament needing base of virgin material to be printable and durable. I've used this 100% recycled filament for a number of light/medium duty jigs and fixtures around the shop. This stuff is just as strong and easy to print as other PETGs I've used.
A brand's commitment to sustainability is something I'm willing to pay a little extra for, but with this stuff I don't have to! With similar costs to imported and non-sustainable products, GreenGate3D PETG is my go-to.
