Contamination

I can't get the black petg to stay running. I tried putting a foam filter to brush off any dust, cleaned off the extruder teeth, dried the material for 8 hours, ran up to a high temp of 250C, ran low temp to 225, ran at 10% speed. No matter what I do, the material ends up with a partial blockage at the nozzle. The print then will clear and continue as if nothing happened. But of course the whole print is done-zo. Not exactly helpful when trying to run recycled and make strong printer parts. I do fully understand the risk of printing recycled. Should I be running a larger nozzle? I'm running the standard 0.4mm. I want this to work out.

Looks like you bought this two years ago...in 2022. We always stand behind our product, so while I see you've dried it, are you sure you've dried it enough? 60C x 6 hours is typical, but you might want to try twice that. Have you changed your nozzle recently? That also might contribute to a clogging issue. Running OUR recycled shouldn't create an issue, so we're hoping these considerations will help fix your problem.

Quality control issue

Let me start by saying that I have had many successful prints with other GreenGate3D filament. However, I received a spool of this filament, and it clogs my nozzle every single time. I can print the same model with the same nozzle and settings on a different spool from GreenGate3D with no issues. I even dried it at the recommended settings, but this did not improve my results. I hope they will replace this spool at no cost (fingers crossed)

Seriously Great Product

I've tried many name brands of PETG. Using this has been my best experience using the material. Gyroid infill goes down smoother & more uniform than any other product I've used to date. I've been using PETG for over 2 yrs. I didnt even need to dehydrate it after unboxing. Thanks ZF & community for recommending!

100% awesomeness!!

Best petg I’ve ever used. Great color and diameter consistency. Very easy to print with. I’m getting amazing prints every time! Bed adhesion and layers look flawless! Their customer service is amazing and very responsive. They are always willing to help! Shipping is very fast! Overall a great company with a great mission. I won’t buy any other filament! Currently Printing with black, primer grey, translucent purple, and now prime time lime, safety orange and American blue!

Prints great.

However, this black is a VERY dark purple. I understand that all PETG is translucent and that you’d be able to see the base color if you shine a light through or are in direct light. But this is purple.
