Transition Spools: Recycled PET-G

I've been a customer of GreenGate since they started. But this PETG has a surprise that delivers every time I use it. Whatever the project, I will be surprised by what the transition delivers. Top quality, great printability and some really interesting color transitions. Keep it up, GreenGate!

A generous sized spool with pretty even diameter across the entire run. Mine was just straight white - so perfect for a number of projects. Prints a little stringy at 40% humidity in the room, but no worse than other PET-G options I've used. I was pretty happy with the final print.

I'm definitely going to be using this as my primary from here on out; I mostly print mechanical or replacement parts, so even if the color starts to vary I'll be happy as long as I get a quality print.

Would recommend slightly higher bed settings than recommended; 85 ˚C is a good spot, I'll probably go as high as 90˚.

Arrived with loving care for my first order, along with a handwritten note. While I appreciated the Starburst, I'd also love paper instead of foam padding and... in a perfect world... a cardboard spindle.

I wasn't expecting much but it prints just as well, if not better than Prusament PETG. I got a glossy gray with a bit of marble fill, It looks great. I got this because I was indecisive about colors on my next project. The accompanying sample of Jurrasic Amber was also a welcome surprise.

I also contacted Customer service to ask if the fill was abrasive and they got back to me right away. 10/10 will reccomend.

The transition is quite long so you see it most with large prints. In my case a four foot tall wall art installation worked.

Have no issues with this spool. It’s just the run when the change over their extruder from different colors. The spool I received is just some plain grey. I love it, perfect for running test prints or things that should be grey.
