As many of you know, we love building consortiums. Relationships with other modelers, manufacturers, and educational institutions are all part of the fun at GreenGate3D!
You probably have seen our Billie Ruben Cherry Pie, so when we first saw the Notre Dame file, we HAD to print it (Check out the video!). Not only was it gorgeous, but it was a great test of layer adhesion, detail definition and bridging ability (plus several of us have been to the actual cathedral before.) You see, in the earliest days of GreenGate3D, we weren't sure if our recycled filament could stand up to our competitors, and if Notre Dame didn't print well, there might be cause for concern. Turns out, IT ROCKED, and we knew we had a winner.
Years ago, when we started speaking with Dany Sanchez, we were ecstatic to hear he was just as thrilled to be talking with us. As it turned out, Dany always wanted to have his own filament color, and we were proud to offer him that opportunity. He is an industrial designer focusing on architecture, so it made total sense to make a marble PETG… a building material that fits PERFECTLY with who he is. As the founder and lead 3D artist at MiniWorld3D, his library is the best and most complete database of 3D printable landmarks & famous world monuments.
So, with Dany's blessing, we present to you, paired with MiniWorld3D Marble at NO COST, the Arc de Triomphe STL, one of the most famous monuments in Paris, France, and an unbelievable 3D file. We thank you for your purchase and your loyalty!
