Excellent quality filament for beginners and pros

I'm only printing out my second model using this filament - literally as I'm typing this review! - but the first one (a prototype vehicle battery maintainer window mount that I designed) turned out better than I could have ever imagined ... and the revised version is looking just as great! Having just recently introduced myself to 3-D printing a few months ago, I'm still using the applicable default settings on the Orca-Flashforge app and my new Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro, but the model prints are exceeding all of my expectations. I'd initially printed out some simple test models using PLA with great results, but decided a stronger material would better ensure the charger mount will hold up during use. I therefore ordered this pewter-colored PET-G filament for my first design project since it would look nice hanging off the rear window of my metallic pearl sedan while being a great choice for numerous subsequent projects.

The color, texture and shine of the prints look as nice (if not better!) as the pictures on this website, and the surface quality is really nice even when using the default settings with a 0.4 nozzle. Being a "recycling fiend," I'd have been OK with a slightly compromised print quality, but this filament clearly prints as great as the "virgin" PLA that I was using for my first prints. It was shipped quickly and nicely packaged, and when I ran it through my single-roll dryer/dispenser (just for good measure since I live in the humid southeast US coastal region), it demonstrated a very really low moisture content that would have been fine to use right out of the box.

I believe that anyone who wants to use a PET-G filament for their projects would be well served to strongly consider this family of filaments. The color selections are broad, the material quality of this filament is excellent, and you'll be doing something positive to help mitigate one of the most prolific plastic pollution issues the world is facing without any sacrifice to the beauty and quality of your projects. Kudos to GreenGate3D! :-)
