Olive Drab: Recycled PET-G

first time using greengate pegt really like this filament

I Ordered 4 thinking that they were all as good as the ones i ordered prior of a different color but the first 1 I loaded in was junk lost more than 500g worth of prints and day's worth of printing due to bulges in the filament up to 2mm and as thin as 1.5mm. having to watch it print for 8 hours at a time then pause unload cut and reload filament was not fun. Hoping the other 3 rolls are not the same I got 4 60mmx90mm jars and lids out of a 1kg roll not happy at all.

Used for printing various quality of life tools around a veterinary clinic. So far has printed well and held up.

This was my first spool from GreenGate3D and I couldn't be happier. This PETG puts the layers down like a stick of butter on a hot summer day. Spreads beautifly and even. There was no hassle with tuning trying to figure out the right settings to print, it was simply press print and forget. I like it so much so I have already ordered a second spool!!

Print Settings:
Hotend: 245C; Hotbed: 70C; Layer Height: 0.24; Flow: 96%(.96); Infill/Support Speed: 60mm/s;
Inner Shells: 50mm/s; Outer Shells: 40mm/s; Retraction: 0.8mm(DD); Retract Speed: 20mm/s;
Fan Speed: 35%(100% Bridges)

I have tested this filament vs Hatchbox and California Filament virgin PETG and found it to be just as strong. It also prints better than the California Filament and I love this color! This is my new favorite filament. I used the same print settings for this as I do my hatchbox prints. FIVE STARS!
