Scott Worthington's Purple Reign Vase Print

Purple Reign is a very difficult filament to make.  It’s the only one we do from raw pigment, instead of masterbatch.  Think of it like making a cake, where raw pigment is like flour… its super fine and goes everywhere.  Masterbatch is like sugar… its much coarser and not very difficult to handle.
We think that labor of love is a no-brainer!

Nicer than expected

Wow this was my first time printing with PETG and setup/calibration was easy and first prints came out smooth and string. The color isn't as deep and rich as in the pics. But it's still very nice light shimmery purple. More like a violet.

My favorite PETG

This is one of the most beautiful colors I own. When printed with thick walls it looks purple. Fewer walls make it appear more pink. But that's just the start. It's prints smooth as butter and doesn't suffer from stringing like other PETG I've tried. A must have for you next project.

Incredible color

The color is hard to describe and I haven’t been able to capture it well in pic or video. Truly unique and everybody should check it out in person if possible.

Unique color, and another quality PETG from GreenGate3d

I really liked the color and couldn't quite appreciate the iridescence until I saw it in person. As others mentioned there is a shift between purple, violet, and blue depending on lighting, angle of view and the model printed. Given its translucency, playing with different infills and other settings will give different effects.
