This was my first roll of filament I bought, and stuck well by side as I learned how to use the printer, level it etc. A solid material that didn't have me pulling my hair out while I learned the ropes. Once got the basics down and could handle basic prints, this material helped show me how much I enjoyed printing and led to a natural desire for more color options.
I love that this is recycled material. And black is perfect so many applications.
I am almost through the entire roll of Black PETG, making PPE for local and regional hospitals and health care facilities.
I don't typically print PETG so I don't have an optimized profile to eliminate stringing and other issues with the material. Also, I am running my machines hard and they probably need new nozzles and maintenance.
I was able to take a bit more time optimizing the print settings with this color and I am getting great results. I wish I had more and time to do other projects.
I will order again.
Never had a jam.. never had anything go wrong.. I bought a bunch and when that runs out, I will buy more.. on a Prusa Mk3..
I appreciate your company helping out the effort to get masks made for those who need them. The plastic worked well and i would order from your company again! It seems to print at a lower temperature than normal petg.
I just went through my first roll on a marathon printing spree producing face shields for health care workers. The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars is that I noticed a bit of upper respiratory irritation after being in the same room with my printer all day, and I hadn’t noticed it before (nor after the roll was done and I switched to virgin PETG). I’ve got another roll of GreenGate queued up, and I’m curious to see whether my symptoms return. I’ll update this review if possible then.
