Prints like a dream
What's not to like. They have a great blend of PETG and carbon fiber that results in more stiffness than just PETG but still retains the impact and flex you need so your parts aren't overly brittle. Any carbon fiber or other filler will make your parts a bit more brittle just by their nature but GreenGate3d has the right balance!
I printed at 265 with bed temp at 70 and got a beautiful satin finish with great layer adhesion. With only slight adjustments to some infill and wall settings... just as strong as normal PETG but with the much nicer finish with the carbon fiber addition.
Printed at 215, 40mm/s speed for a little better translucency. 80 bed. I can't say this color is all that different than the cheaper translucent purple, but I understand it's made from better colorant.
Prints well out of the bag without drying. will be buying more!
This was my first spool of PETG ever, and it has set the bar extremely high. It prints so much better than PLA that I have at a similar price. Sometimes I struggle for hours trying to get PLA to print properly, however this PETG will always print correctly on the first try. It has genuinely made me consider switching to PETG as my primary printing material.
Getting a hand written letter from Barbara and some goodies was also a sweet bonus, I showed all my friends.
Prints like butter 😁
This prints great on my Prusa and Bambu printers. I find that it even prints better than Bambulab PETG on my P1S.
Used it for printing harp stand brackets. Holds up well.
We recently started using this as an alternative color choice for the recipients of our printed prosthetics. It prints amazingly well, so smooth! Prints like butter for us at 245C. Fantastic material, very happy with it!
We've been through several different PETG brands but have settled on this for our prosthetics. Prints very well, has just the right amount of spring and not brittle. We find it worth paying the shipping and import fees to get it in Central America. It takes the very high heat of summers in the jungle and the wear and tear of daily use. This is the favorite color of the locals here! The fact that it's recycled is also a big bonus to us and a great company to work with.
Would you believe we print stethoscopes out of this! A great color that really catches your eye. As always it prints very well, nice and smooth. Very happy with it.
This (along with every other spool of GreenGate 3D PETG) is amazing! Printed this at 255c and my prints look fantastic and have no issues. I used this for LED light diffusion projects and it really pops!. I'll be buying more soon for my next projects!
First time ordering, and was a bit skeptical that petg could print at pla temps, i never change my settings except speed, this printed well, at nozzle at 203 and bed at 65.speed just at 35mm. and it was amazing i will buy again, shipping was fast as well, with candy and a little note, thanks guys you rock
I used this to make a few Grinch themed family gifts this year. I have some left for my projects that require painting and it’s a great lime green. The grinch was perfect and well the rest of the spool went into printing 12-14 hr long jobs because I know this stuff will just print no problem!!
