from 324 reviewsI'm only printing out my second model using this filament - literally as I'm typing this review! - but the first one (a prototype vehicle battery maintainer window mount that I designed) turned out better than I could have ever imagined ... and the revised version is looking just as great! Having just recently introduced myself to 3-D printing a few months ago, I'm still using the applicable default settings on the Orca-Flashforge app and my new Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro, but the model prints are exceeding all of my expectations. I'd initially printed out some simple test models using PLA with great results, but decided a stronger material would better ensure the charger mount will hold up during use. I therefore ordered this pewter-colored PET-G filament for my first design project since it would look nice hanging off the rear window of my metallic pearl sedan while being a great choice for numerous subsequent projects.
The color, texture and shine of the prints look as nice (if not better!) as the pictures on this website, and the surface quality is really nice even when using the default settings with a 0.4 nozzle. Being a "recycling fiend," I'd have been OK with a slightly compromised print quality, but this filament clearly prints as great as the "virgin" PLA that I was using for my first prints. It was shipped quickly and nicely packaged, and when I ran it through my single-roll dryer/dispenser (just for good measure since I live in the humid southeast US coastal region), it demonstrated a very really low moisture content that would have been fine to use right out of the box.
I believe that anyone who wants to use a PET-G filament for their projects would be well served to strongly consider this family of filaments. The color selections are broad, the material quality of this filament is excellent, and you'll be doing something positive to help mitigate one of the most prolific plastic pollution issues the world is facing without any sacrifice to the beauty and quality of your projects. Kudos to GreenGate3D! :-)

This being my second brand of PETG, Prusament PETG came with my printer. It performs just as well as the non-recycled PETG. I did two 14 hour plus print jobs no hiccups and the prints look great! Not only does it look great, it is recycled and made in the USA.
The had written notes are a nice personal touch and the grandkids love the Starbursts.

I finally got through my roll of this that I bought a while back. This really is amazing filament. The color is bright and incredible and this stuff prints amazingly. The best PETG I have ever used. Buy a roll now!

Has worked excellent for me. Really appreciate that I can support a local small business, be environmentally conscious, and get an excellent filament to boot. Great colors too!

I will most definitely be getting the rest of the colors that are available. The color selection is amazing compared to the other manufacturers. It prints great. I didn't do any calibration and just ran it withe Bambu Labs generic petg settings and it prints great.

Wonderful, rich color
Prints like a dream

What's not to like. They have a great blend of PETG and carbon fiber that results in more stiffness than just PETG but still retains the impact and flex you need so your parts aren't overly brittle. Any carbon fiber or other filler will make your parts a bit more brittle just by their nature but GreenGate3d has the right balance!
I printed at 265 with bed temp at 70 and got a beautiful satin finish with great layer adhesion. With only slight adjustments to some infill and wall settings... just as strong as normal PETG but with the much nicer finish with the carbon fiber addition.

Printed at 215, 40mm/s speed for a little better translucency. 80 bed. I can't say this color is all that different than the cheaper translucent purple, but I understand it's made from better colorant.

Prints well out of the bag without drying. will be buying more!

This was my first spool of PETG ever, and it has set the bar extremely high. It prints so much better than PLA that I have at a similar price. Sometimes I struggle for hours trying to get PLA to print properly, however this PETG will always print correctly on the first try. It has genuinely made me consider switching to PETG as my primary printing material.
Getting a hand written letter from Barbara and some goodies was also a sweet bonus, I showed all my friends.

Prints like butter 😁

This prints great on my Prusa and Bambu printers. I find that it even prints better than Bambulab PETG on my P1S.
